It's 3.54pm now. Hahahz..and I'd just woke up.
Ytday was still a busy day @NY. It was the last day of the Granton promotion(something like 1 for 1 setlunch).
As the new menu will be up today, many of the food was not available ytday. Sandwiches, Lasagne, Potato salad, The Parmesean, Tiramisu mudpie. Quite nonsensical for sucha thing to happen. And yet, it did. And guess what? We had full-house and some kukus queue-ing outside.
4 of us on night shift ytday. Me, Lin, Joel(a guy, trainee, quite blur, has numerous ear holes and 1 is xtremely big and so big that a pencil can go through) and SiJia(worked there longer than me and Lin, but I just don't get why she canot smile and walk abit faster).
The new menu really bring about lotsa things in which we have to do. And the honourable job of decorating the blackboard and 2 other transparent boards landed on me. No no, I did'nt want to claim all these credit alone. Lin was not spared..whahaha!
Last order @9.30 and Lin started doing condiments and me, doing the silly and tedious job of cleaning the blackboard! FYI:The top few inches of the board was cleaned by Joel, cause I can't reach it..=(
By 1030, all guests had left. All staff assembled a few tables away from us(we were infront of that bloody board, cracking our brains) and they were enjoying the spagettis while we were choking on chalk dust.NO ONE offered to help, except Joel. What the...!! And they finished up EVERYTHING and left @11.
The 3 of us and Nesh were left in the restaurant. Very nice of Nesh, he asked what we would like to drink and he taught us roughly howta make the elephanchinnos(super-duper big jug of fruit soda). Ice elephanchinno Peach is da best!!!
The clock sturck midnite, and we were still decorating the blackboard. Nesh asked whether we had our dinner and he disappeared for like 20minutes or so. When he returned, he had a plate of Roast Chicken pasta in his hands. OmmGG!!!! So sweet right?? When the hell will you have the honour to taste food that is prepared by your manager??!
And finally, 12.30 arrived. And we completed the blackboard. Nice, really, wahhahaah! Then we proceeded to do the 2 transparent boards.
At this moment, Nesh came out of the kitchen with 2 cookie monster mudpies, hehehz. So nice right?? It was sinful though..lolz!
1.40, everything settled and we left the restaurant.
Hehez, after my bath, I was in time for ZhongYiDaGeDa repeat. AHzi was not supposed to appear at the beginning. But she did, becoz of the crabs..whahaha! Eat and eat and eat..
Her performace was great, as usual. And her Hokkien really veri terok, I CMI too. But it was the imperfection that added the element of laughter into the show.
I'd finally more or less completed half of Blink, after spending 3 hours reading it this morning. Sleeping time started at 7.30am. Veri earli..=)
